Pastels are fabulous for creating great backgrounds in your journal without the associated problems of warping caused by wet media. Using PanPastel you can easily create a dramatic background that will accept other media over the top, and can also be erased in places to highlight specific areas. Being packaged in pans they are easy to transport and therefore ideal for journaling 'on the move'
